Data Protection

Thank you for visiting our website. This privacy policy explains how Bosenet processes personal data when you use this website.

1. Name and contact details of the controller

The controller within the meaning of Art. 4 (7) and Art. 13 (1) (a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

Bosenet Systemhaus GmbH & Co. KG Wilmersdorfer Straße 58 10627 Berlin Tel. +49 30 232 91797 E-Mail: info@bosenet.com

2. Information collected when you visit the website

When you access the Bosenet website without registering or otherwise providing information, the web server automatically records general information in a log file and stores it for a limited period of time. This information comprises:

  • the type of web browser
  • the operating system used
  • the domain name of your internet service provider
  • your IP address
  • the date and time of access
  • websites from which your system reaches the Bosenet website
  • websites accessed by your system via the Bosenet website
  • HTTP status code

This data is not combined with other personal data. It is stored to ensure the functionality and security of the website and its IT systems and to improve the website.

The processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the stable, secure and functional operation of our website. Without the IP address, the website cannot be delivered to your device. You have the right to object to this processing under Art. 21 GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation.

3. Contacting us

a) Nature, purpose and legal basis of the processing

If you use the contact form on our website, the data you enter is transmitted to Bosenet and stored in order to answer your enquiry. Fields marked * are mandatory:

  • Name*
  • E-mail*
  • Organisation
  • Message

The contents of the form are transmitted via an encrypted HTTPS connection. The same applies if you contact us by e-mail or phone: we process the data you provide only to handle your enquiry.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to an existing or potential contract, and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries addressed to us.

b) Disclosure of data

Where necessary to respond to your enquiry, your name and organisation may be shared with the relevant Bosenet employees. Your data will not be passed on to third parties outside Bosenet.

c) Storage period

We delete the data once your enquiry has been conclusively dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations require us to keep it for longer.

4. Cookies and analytics

This website does not use cookies for analytics or marketing purposes and does not use tracking or web analytics tools.

The website opens in German or English depending on the language setting of your browser. If you choose a language with the EN/DE switch, this choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so the site keeps opening in that language. This information stays on your device, is not sent to us and can be deleted at any time in your browser settings. Storing it is technically necessary to provide the language choice you requested (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG).

5. Links to LinkedIn

Our website contains simple links to our company page and job listings on LinkedIn. No LinkedIn plugins or feeds are embedded, so no data is transmitted to LinkedIn when you visit our website. Only when you click a link and open LinkedIn does LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company (Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland) process data in accordance with its own privacy policy:

linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy

6. Rights of data subjects

You have the following rights regarding your personal data. You can exercise them by writing to info@bosenet.com or by post.

  • Right of access to the stored data and its processing, Art. 15 GDPR
  • Right to rectification of inaccurate personal data, Art. 16 GDPR
  • Right to erasure of stored data, Art. 17 GDPR
  • Right to restriction of processing, Art. 18 GDPR
  • Right to data portability, Art. 20 GDPR
  • Right to object to processing based on legitimate interests, Art. 21 GDPR

Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR). Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).

7. Data security

This website uses TLS encryption (HTTPS) to protect the transmission of data. Please note that data transmitted over the internet, for example by e-mail, may have security gaps; complete protection against access by third parties is not possible.

8. Changes to this privacy policy

We may update this privacy policy so that it always meets current legal requirements or reflects changes to our services, for example when we introduce new features. The version published here applies to your next visit.
